3M for chin spoiler

I am adding the OEM chin spoiler and am wondering if I should have the 3m clearbra film put on it. for those that have one, how does it hold up as far as rock chips? I already have the clearbra on the front so it seems like a good idea to do the lip...any thoughts

Hey Max - when are you getting it put on? And are you doing it yourself?

I'm ordering it today and I've been told it will take a week or so before I receive it. I am not sure about the install, i will probably ask the guys at Sugar Land paint & body shop what they would charge, I have been in there before and they are very reasonable...plus they have installed body kits for other people...and it's 5 minutes from work.

I drove without a clera bra on it for about a month and it held up ok but I could se that it was going to get pitted. I ended up covering it with a 3M clear bra like the rest of the front.

I had the front end done by the dealer before i picked the car up, I think it was ~$300 since they can discount dealer installed options more. I will probably have the chin spoiler done at a tint place at 59 and beltway 8.
