Do the folks in Japan mod their "clear" corners with American amber ones?

Just curious. I have to make a trip to Tokyo in a couple of weeks ... thinking there maybe an arbitrage opportunity what with all these OEM amber corners lying around ...

 

Everyone in America tries to do the JDM styling, everyone in Japan tries to do the USDM styling

 

why do people think that the 350GT comes with clear corners in Japan.. they come with regular amber ones.. ( i think, cuz thats how i aways see them)

 

Are those the rays tracks wheels from the 350z? I have never seen them on a g35 before.

 

This is correct, the Japanese go to great lengths to 'Americanize' their cars.

go to clear corners.com they have clear corner kits there. Also with the JDM conversion of the g to the skyline they throw on clear corners. peace

yep. japanese want USDM, americans want JDM.

One of the biggest/famous case would be Integra Type-R.
JDM conversion is a dream for all the ITR owners here.
however in japan, people are anxious to do USDM converion to their ITR.

JDM always look nicer IMO, but I guess thats "played out" over there.

 

sounds funny how the japanese want to americanize there cars, and we want to japinize ours..... I dont think thats a real word oh well............
