Theres people that "know" because they read about it, and there are those that know through experience. Believe what you want. I'm not here to sell you anything, but just to share my experiences with you

Dude...Look at what you wrote....

After that kind of beating your bumper took it's still in "show condition"?

Even an OEM Polyurethane bumper would have been trashed after hitting it all those times after 7 years...but your aftermarket fiberglass miraculously held up?

Is there an imprint of the Virgin Mary on there too?

Ok, sorry, I guess I wasnt clear with what I wrote. What I meant to say was that after all that abuse, I was always able to repair it. In the end, it was still show quality... just as it was when I first had it installed

...okay...

MikeyMike, yeah, I can see how what I said before could have been taken lol. I had an enchanted fiberglass kit that was completely indestructable And actually, my fiberglass kit on my other car was destroyed. It was late at night and I think I ran over a spare tire. No, not a blown tire that was on the street. My front end was demollished, along with my rims and some suspension parts.

But yeah, my point was that polyurethane, even oem bumpers can be completely ruined, where as fiberglass can be repaired with much more severe damage.

Also, everyone thinks that all fiberglass kits are all the same. There are various grades and quality of fiberglass. Not all fiberglass kits are cheaply sprayed with a chopper gun.
