i need Bats overlay install guide
i need Bats overlay install guide
i figured to just give it a try since i found no one here in miami who will do the install. i did a search to try and find it but none of the pics work and the directions on the pics....
TIA
TIA
I dont have the guide but heres my tips on it
Do the install with the car out of direct sunlight (make sure the application area is not hot)
Apply a liberal amount of soap and water solution to area
Remove backing on overlay and place onto area not worrying about perfect alignment
If you applied the right amount of soap and water you'll be able to slide the overlay around until its in the right position
Then use something to smooth out the surface getting all bubbles out (I found a credit card to be too hard so I found some stiff business cards that worked better)
For the tail lights the curved surface is a real pain in the ***. I need to use a heat gun to get it to smooth out over the curve and even then it was still hard.
If in doubt a tint shop can probably do it
