the precut ones are like that, but you can stretch them while you install to make it
go closer to the edge as I found out when I did my cooper-s clearbra install on my
own. my cooper-s clearbra by Xpel covers from 1-3mm from the edge depending
on location.

thanks for the replies.
well on parts of the bumper, some are like 1/2-3/4 inch away from the edge! and guess what, it is already peeling on the hood and side mirros and its been 4 days since the install!!! i am going to try and ask for a refund or make him do this over again properly, this is nuts!

It all depends on the quality of the install. I had my wrapped clear bra on my car for three winters, being daily driven and parked outside in the elements. Not a single sign of peeling.

During most of the winter, I'm ebarassed to say my car looked like this:

Yup...just had mine done today by Tom at his Lodi location. I must admit, he did an excellent job with the installation. It is seamless and the bra is wrapped along the edges. I had the front end done as well as the door edges. I'd definitely recommend him if anyone is interested in getting this done.
