Hey TS what was up with the metal pins you guys use to hold down the mesh on your bumpers? It's like solder wire! They couldn't even hold a simple drive on the highway. Bent, and broke away! Wonder how your hoods hold up?

Nah he didn't latch his hood the right way and it got loose. Duc was talking about the mesh on the bumper. We took an hour drive on the highway and almost all the mesh was off by the time we got to HIN.

Pretty sad.

We hooked him up w/ some customautomesh and our mounting hardware and he was all good to go. That stuff won't come off.

Our hood holds up great, probably the strongest and lightest on the market for the G. It held up at our 341km/h Top Speed run so I don't think there will be any issues there.

From what the main office in Japan told me, the grills on the front bumper should have silicone added to permanently attach them. The wire is not intended to hold the grill on by itself.

I don't remember any silicon on the grille, as a matter of fact, the grilles werent even attached to the bumper when we pulled it out of the box. Just own up to the cheap mounting hardware on the bumper already.

Yea totally!

Why not just eliminate the cheap wire tabs and go with something a little stronger. $ for $ it's not going to run you much more, or do you think the extra $1-$2 in material will hurt your "small" profit margins?

It just doesnt make sense! Use stronger hardware and there's NO need for silicone. Not using silicone also makes it easy to remove if the time comes to replace or repaint the mesh.

Time for a memo to the home office.....

Hmm I havent had any problems with the wire. BUT I could see if you take it on and off why there would be a problem. As for knock offs you all know where I stand. Maybe its because I install all my own mods.
