Are the vents on the hood real or just for looks ? If real....do they have a way to drain the water ? Thanks

Yes, they're real and no there is no drain.

Looks hot, I want that hood so bad but I've never seen a carbon fiber hood on a DP and I dont want to be the test mule. Nice choice.

if there is no drain how do you keep water from pouring into the bay, they need to make some sort of catch or maybe put some lexan over under there to block rain.

whats wrong with a little water in the engine bay? as far as i know it should be fine unless tons of water pours in the intake, or maybe over the battery...

Obviously that hood is more form rather than function, and shouldn't be driven when it's raining outside...

Looks cool, but I think you started in the wrong place for a stock car... Just my opinion, changing the wheels and ride height is where you should have gone first.

The vents are there to detract heat from the engine compartment.
One of the vents sits right on top of the air box so its letting the intake grab more air.

The way the vents are facing the rain is being pushed in the direction of the windshield not the vent.
