from the shots, the hood fitment doesn't seem to be "perfect," but what aftermarket hood is.. don't get me wrong, the fitment still looks pretty decent.. i know it's tough aligning those hoods..

anyhow, good looking hood.. that's exactly the hood i wanted when i was looking at getting an aftermarket hood.. good choice!

Like you said any aftermarket hood will not fit 100% like OEM.

I installed the the hood during my lunch time at work so i didn't sit there trying to align it for hours. I tried getting as near perfect as i could and by looking at the pictures i can honestly say i can bring the passenger side a lil further down to match with the driver side. When i installed it i was trying to line it up more with the gap of the hood and the fenders to get it as even as possible on both sides. Hopefully i will have more time this weekend and see if i can tweak it a little more.

As far as quality, fitment and finish is concerned Seibon is considered one ,if not the best, aftermarket CF hood manufacturer for the G35. I have no complaints. I had another OEM Type CF hood on my car earlier and was not too happy but iam now.

Thanks for the compliment guys this is my last mod for the year before it gets put away for the winter in a few months. Next year i will work on suspension and wheels hopefully

Man yours looks sweet! My fitment was WAYYYYY off! Ive messed with it for hours and its still off. I had to weld a new hood latch on mine because it was too short. The gap on the edges is also way off. But maybe its because I have the other style.

Thanks G35NV coming from you its a big compliment considering the extensive work you have done on your car especially doing it mostly yourself not by anyone else. I have also noticed that if i try to line up the rear or the front the gap would be uneven on the sides hopefully i can try n get that resolved this weekend
