White reverse light with blue bulb?
I saw people put white blub for their reverse light and they look very good (at least on a Celica). In the morning, u can see a blub tint through the reverse lens. I wonder if anyone tried that?

Regular incandecent bulbs have fillaments that create a light with a slight yellowish tint. What has been done to take away this yellowish color is manufacturers have tinted the glass of the bulbs blue, to nutralize the natural yellow light to create a color that is closer to white. The downside to this is that the tinted glass can only manipulate the light only so much, so it usually casts a glow that is more "aqua" than pure white. And also, since the glass is tinted blue, the light output is actually dimmer than a stock bulb. Some aftermarket "hyper white" bulbs have a higher wattage to compensate for this, so thats something to keep in mind. So if you were to look at this bulb during the day, you can see a blue bulb inside, but when it shines on, its pretty much white'ish aqua.
