Who cares if it's non-functional?

Clear corners are non-functional, yet they enhance the look of the car and ALMOST everyone here has them.

Spoilers are useless, it's not like we really need any downforce at 80mph.

What's the point of a bodykit? Added weight, plain and simple.

I like the look of the sidevents.

You're missing the point about functionality. Clear corners and a spoiler do, in fact, have a function. The body kit could be debatable. The side vents do not route cool air to the brakes or anywhere else, therefore they are non-functional.

PS - We'll all be anxiously awaiting your pictures after you install these vents.

I think that pic was taken at Crest Infiniti. I remember seeing that black coupe in the showroom wondering what the hell it was.

Without getting into the differences in taste, when it comes to these "non-functioning" peel-n-stick vents, I'm not sure how well they'll flow with the lines on the car.

If you're going to be able to run a bodykit that might detract the eye or otherwise help them blend, you might be able to pull it off. But on an OEM G coupe, I think they would prove to be the proverbial turd in a punchbowl.

Always ask yourself if you think it will look good in 10-15 years. If not, then it's not going to look good in even 5 years... ...and may have been a mistake from the start.

I just said I like them, they look nice. I wouldn't get them because like you said, they're non-functional, and I have a sedan. Those side vents are more appropriate for the coupe. But PURELY on looks alone, I like them.

By the way, what is the function of a clear corner other than looks?

PS - I don't know how my earlier post came off, I didn't mean to be condescending or anthing. Just wanted to offer a different perspective on things.
