Retro fit Question. HELP

Can we use our HID ballast (that fits or comes with our D2R bulbs) and use our HID ballast with D2S (bulb) do they connect when doing retro fit projectors since it uses D2S bulbs... or would I have to buy a D2S HID ballast to make it work.. or buy maybe a converter.

our HID ballast universal? can use it in your retro fit projectors conversion or no?

THANKS !!=)

You can use a D2S bulb with a D2R ballast. The only difference between a D2R and D2S bulb is a little light shielding on the top of the D2R bulb. Also, they have different notches at the base of the bulb. You can modify a D2R bulb into a D2S bulb by removing the shielding on top and adding a notch at the base.

so i can use our stock hid ballast and connect that with d2s bulb without a problem for retro fitting projectors... or without having to buy another ballast (a ballast that connects with d2s) ?

Yes. All ballasts have a standard connector that connects to the back of the bulb whether it's d2s or d2r. You will be able to use your stock ballasts.
