Payment must be upfront for the parts, the domestic freight can be paid when the parts arrive.

Kenstyle's fiberglass is almost comparable to Hybrid Aero or PFRP. It is very durable and very high quality.

Topsecret, with the prices you charge I really think you should be supplying Urethane and not fiberglass bro. No matter what you say about fiberglass, it's still glass, Urethane is much more superior.

Have you tried to switch suppliers?

The kits he mentioned aren't made in Urethane, so no matter what supplier he went to it'd be fiberglass.

Great price, I almost paid $3K for the KS kit delivered! Oh well, you always pay more to get in early.

Switch Suppliers? There is only one authentic manufacturer...that's Kenstyle...and they only produce the kit in fiberglass.

I think you've seen too much of the cheap third world country made fiberglass parts. Kenstyle fiberglass is relatively flexible and much more durable. Urethane is not superior...here's a quick comparison:

Weight - Fiberglass weights far less than urethane

Paint - Fiberglass holds paint as well as OEM metal bodyparts whereas urethane parts do not hold the paint as well. Even OEM urethane parts fade quicker than fiberglas or metal.

Shape - Quality fiberglass holds it shape very well. Urethane sags over time. Especially when you have component like foglights involved. I've seen cheap urethane actually bleed some sort of oil that strips away paint...

Repairable - fiberglass can be cheaply and easily repaired. Urethane is quite difficult and expensive to repair.

Honestly, the most ideal material at the moment is Hybrid Aero from Ings. It has all the benefits of fiberglass but it's even lighter and as flexible as urethane. The kenstyle fiberglass is similar to these but not quite as flexible.

I'm straight bro, fiberglass is junky if you ask me. If it was all that and a bag of chips then manufacturers would use fiberglass as well, not Urethane. True, fiberglass breaks easily and fixes easily. Urethane doesn't break, I've abused my OEM bumper and even though it's required a repaint, it never cracked.

I think my next car will be German, majority of the *** kits are ricy and they ARE ALL FIBERGLASS. How come superior manufacturers like Hamann, Rieger, Ottinger, Etc..all use Urrethane??

Kenstyle needs to make some Urethane stuff, but as long as people keep accepting this Fiberglass aftermarket junk...there's no need for them to up their quality.

In this case I AGREE with TS!

Fiberglass is cheap, and yes to many its "junky" but it is a great material for body kits due to the fact that it does have much more pro's than con's when compared to urethane, which is more expensive to produce, trickier to paint and prep, and very hard if not almost impossible to repair....

Because the MFG's OEM Deal in Mass production.
100,000 + compared to possibly 10,000

Not sure about the German guys though.
Maybe they have an injection mold sitting in their back yard

Urethane is better BUT cost's a LOT more to make. Theres nothing like it! It flexes and wont crack! PPG has a new bumper prep that is off the hook! Its 20.00 a shot but your paint wont crack or chip! The last PPG class I went to they showed us a piece of Urethane that was treated with the new stuff. They passed it around the class and told us to bend it as much as we wanted and it didnt crack!

Reiger is (ABS plastics)
Are you sure the rest are Urethane?

DO NOT GET CONFUSED WITH ABS AND URETHANE
these are completely different products.
