The Truth about customautomesh.com...

Well I ordered some mesh for my gialla REPLICA grille late last week. I got it yesterday and finally put it on tonight. Basically I used the existing mesh as a template to cut the 'large weave' customautomesh 'mesh'. well I took some b4 pics and some after pics. The metallic mesh needs to be painted at LEAST twice a year IMO to look good. This mesh, NEVER needs to be painted.

Overall its a great product, thanks Drew (diesel1) and coupin for delivering a great product. You guys drop $$$ on parts that use metal mesh, whats another $15?? In my opinion its an investment and a time saver as you no longer have to remove/repaint every so often....Im a very happy and satisfied customer!!

Pics are worth a million words so heres the BEFORE pics....

Puria, thanks for the kind words and write-up. We are very happy that you are satisfied with our product.

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask us here. Hope to see this mesh replacing more cheap metal mesh in the future.

Hey JDM, Diesel and I co-own the site. Just keeping the PR for it alive on the boards.

We only have black mesh, , it can be painted, but the paint will chip like metal. I know most like to keep it black.

You can try to paint it but we cannot guarantee it against chips since that is on top of the high-quality plastic.

Hope this helps.

As coupin said, thanks for the kind words and posting your review! It is greatly appreciated!

In regards to the real Gialla Grill, they too use the same metal mesh. If you have questions regarding the mesh that comes with the real Gialla, just PM INFINITI4LIFE from the GSQUAD and he will be happy to tell you all about it. It's a fairly thin metal and unless you find you leave it bare metal or find someone who can clearbra it after paint, it will chip! So basically the options are few and far between!

Hmmmmm maybe we should raise the prices??? JK JK We are car entusiasts too so we understand how people just want a good product and good service at a reasonable price! Coupin and I took this project on out of our love for cars and modding, certainly not to get rich!!! LOL

Drew is that your nice way of saying i am not getting a christmas present???

The Gialla mesh is great if you dont drive with it in or leave it silver. It's the nature of the beast if you paint it, from road debris etc it will chip or peel. This was a great solution to that problem and very cost effective. Very simple to install, even coupin could do it.
