Skyline emblems
okay I've read almost all the posts listed under search but don't exactly see an answer to the question I'm going to ask so no flames please. thanks.
My Skyline and 350GT emblem came with a blue template. Did anyones come with those?
I've heard some people did not have the template and rebadged letter by letter
Is it okay to use the blue template and just stick it all on at a time?
for the 350GT it seems like i can just line it up with the countours of the trunk.
however, for the skyline words it seems harder.Do you guys think its wise to
1)marking where the template should be first with tape(from I to I and top of letters and bottom forming a square.
then,
2) remove all the letters
3) paste them all on at one time
thanks for the help people =)

All the emblems come with the blue templates. You are supposed to stick them all on at the same time using the template (mark them off with tape or something, they are the same length as the stock badging).
what i did was:
1. mark off original badging location with masking tape (with a slight border, so that there was still enough space to peel/rub off the adhesive)
2. remove badging
3. align template over the area and apply
