steering wheel stitching

Are any of you concerned that the steering wheel stitching is going to wear out and the leather is going to come apart off the steering wheel?

My g only has about 7000 miles on it and the stitching is already starting to exhibit signs of wear right at left hand side at the little notch where youre supposed to wrap your hand around. That's where i hold it most. These days i try not to wrap my entire thumb all the way around it and instead lay it flat against the front of the wheel to try to not aggravate that stitching there.

I Have the orange stitching and share your same concerns. I too am handling the steering wheel a bit more gentle, now.

As the previous poster had mentioned, I will call my service person and inquire with regard to the possibilty of any potential warranty work of the said in the future.
