Lightbulb overlays 3/10 or 6/10?

Hi everyone.
I'm about to purchase Bats overlays the GTRH3 headlight overlay and I can't decide between 3/10 or 6/10 tail light fully smoked overlays. BTW I have a 05 Athens Blue 5AT

Does anyone have pictures of both shades? I know the Bats site has them but I can't really see the 3/10 taillights too well. Thanks everyone in advance!

Also I heard the overlays are put on the outside of the lights. Will this peel off due to snow or rain?

I suggest you go 3/10. 6/10 is a little too dark and it doesn't look nowhere near as classy as 3/10.

Also, yes the overlays go over your taillights (considering theyre called overlays ) and they wont peel off from rain or car washes. They are a very tough vinyl and they stick on like a decal. Once theyre on, theyre on to stay.

if you are going to go with the GTR overlay in the front, i think it is better to get the GTR overlay in the back too. it should look much better unless you really like it fully smoked, then go with the 3/10 because 6/10 are really dark.

If you go GTR get the 6/10. Better contrast than the 3/10 .

I'll agree to that^. I just ordered the HGTR3 headlight overlays from Bat for my IP. Can't wait for them to arrive. Hope that CC gets there soon, buddy.

Just my opinion, but I also think the GTR3 tails would be best with those front overlays. If you go the full-smoke route, it seem like the 3/10 would look nicer on an AB coupe.

If you go GTR3 at both ends, it seems like staying consistent would be the way to go, regardless of how dark. On IP, definately 6/10, but again, on AB the 3/10 GTR3 at both ends mike look really nice. Depends on what you're going for... ...blacked-out or just a little something special that also reduces the cheap/blingy look (to each his own ) of the chrome inserts inside the headlight housings.

I just got mine yesterday, I'm going to install it soon. You should go with 6/10, because 3/10 gonna be to light. I got 3/10 overlays on my side marker.

Thanks for everyones input!

Yeah I really like how the GTR3 headlight overlays look. The GTR taillights, in my opinion, looks good only on certain colors such as BLACK and WHITE and maybe SILVER. I think on Athens Blue it gives it too much contrast with black and blue and red in the back. Thats why I wanted the full smoked.

I do agree that the 6/10 sort of gives it a cheapened look to it. Looks a little too dark. Thats why I wanted to see if the 3/10 would be better. I'm not sure how it looks in 3/10. Hope its not tooooo light.

the GTR headlight only comes in one tint right? theres no 3/10 or 6/10....
