Hey guys, I decided I wanted to go with a bit more of an aggressive lip. I ordered a data systems lip a few days ago. Ive been looking at pictures and I think I have a problem. I installed my own oem lip and I know where the holes in the bumper are, I think these holes are going to be visible when I have the new lip installed. take a look at these pics..



new lip, notice how the corners dont come as far up as the oem lip...



What do you guys think? Has anyone been in my shoes and switched from oem to data? If im right (which im sure I am) how expensive is this going to cost now to get the holes out of the old bumper. Will the bumper need a new paint job?

 

hmm.. we'll see? if not then u can always patch up and repaint the bumper? =\ rids of all the past rock chips =) but it looks like the OEM goes up about an inch futher then the datasystems

i gota see how this whole thing works out before I put the oem one up for sale, but if it all goes well, then Ill PM you and let you know when im ready to sell it.

that could def be a big problem.........depending on how much money you want to dish out...........that will answer your question

 

if i do it ill prob do it right and do it all at once. Ill get some kenstyle sides and get them installed along with gettin the oem front bumper holes filled (ill get the licence plate holes filled while im at it) and then get it repainted and have the data lip painted and put on. Then ill get a clear bra for the front and then that will be finished. Ill have to save some more $$$ before I can do that though, so it doesnt look like I can put up my oem lip for sale as quick as I wanted to.
