Question Clear bra on headlights?

Does anybody have them on their headlights? I've always wondered about this. I had my clear bra installed about a month ago and was talked out of getting the headlights done because supposedly it acts like a heatshiled, thus not releasing any heat, which can crack the headlights ? Is there truth to that? Does anybody have them on for awhile without any problems?

Yeah, I know this. What I want to know was if the film can cause the headlights to crack?

I have it more than a year. Love it. It give some protection on the headlights. It was free from my installer since I had him to do the clear bar to the front and tint windows the same day!
