Interesting, I did not know there was a demand for TSX headlights. I work as a service advisor for Acura, and the TSX and the MDX headlights both have moisture problems and I warranty a set every week, warranty does not call for them and we throw them away, I wonder how much it would cost if I provided my own TSX headlights?

Have to be honest here! The bottom looks great, the top looks like $HIT. Coke cans only work if 90% don't show. In your case it looks like you mounted projectors in coke cans and glued them to your headlights.

TSX sell for about 220-300 for a set, they are the new s2000, still not as good, but a hell of a lot easier to mount.

I dont think $800 is steep at all, look at his first post..

1) dual projector retrofit
2) paint housing
3) CCFL in the clearance
4) demon eyes
5) cleared out turn signal

find me another vendor who will do all of this for <$800...

Problem is....its not worth doing if you can't do it yourself. With the cost of materials + labor you can buy 2 sets of '06 projectors almost 3, & those look better than these.

He says you have to provide your own supplys, its only $800 for the labor. you have to provide everything.

yes i know...$800 labor for all that is about right...again dual projector retrofit is no joke when it comes to labor...just look at the DIY PeteNJ and E_K have done...in addition look at the DIY PeteNJ did on the CCFL clearance strips...then look at the cost of having demon eye's installed. Then on top of that the labor (prob. quick of painting your housings), not to forget the clearing out of the turn signal in teh headlight which is also not simple.....thats at least a weeks worth of labor if not more...

Thought I'd bump this thread. There's alot of irony going on if you read from the first post on.

Ed was getting his lights professionally done.

People were waiting for installed pics. I would have loved to see beam pattern pics with all 4 projectors on from about 25 feet (how come no one with quad projectors posts beam pattern pics?)

I was still waiting for my TL clear lenses, and since then my retrofit was completed, with pics littered throughout.

Here's the part I don't get.....

He's actually professional. He quoted me $900 for parts AND labor. I guess i WILL shop around..

But regardless, you did a nice job.
But when you go to hidretro...
http://www.hidretro.com/page46.htm

There's the exact same pics of the lights?

I'm trying to see if they had to extend the dustcap for the low beam with JB weld and such, because that tends to hit the fenderliner, but all of the pics just miss that angle to be able to tell this.
