OK, I have the front-button shift **** that I'm trying to put onto my 2003 coupe...I have the little blue adapter for the shifter...the **** fits, but how am I supposed to lock it down? The notch for the clip does not line up. Is the modification supposed to be making a notch in the metal shifter or the plastic insert on the shift ****? Or is no modification supposed to be required? Anyone do this mod?
