I think he means the piece that goes along the door above the window... I think it is called a rain diverter or something of the nature. He wants to at least be able to have his windows cracked open during the rain and not get wet...
heck, I just keep a towel in the car and let the water fall in and wipe it off.
It might also be because when you turn on the wipers, the water is directed to the driver's side of the car and it is more likely to fall into the car on the driver's side.

They run about $170.00 unpainted at most places and you have to supply the double sided tape.
I wish they sold window spoilers. I guess it is the nature of a coupe but I miss being able to lower the window slightly when it is raining. The water just falls inside on the G.

if you look closely, thats a picture of a Z with that spoiler on it.
