everything i've read has said they're kinda hard to put on because you have to heat up one of them to get it to stretch over and fit on the e-brake. i think the brake / accelerator are just swapped out...

the e brake is easy, the gas is easy, the dead pedal is easy, the brake pedal is a b!tch, what i had to go is drop the pedal into some boiling water (warms rubber and make it easy to stretch), i then took it out and stretched it over the metal brake. have fun.

I made up a few new expletives while putting them on my 6MT.

Heating them may help... maybe a hair dryer or something. I used water to help them slide on, but they don't stretch easily. Be very careful if you use a flathead screwdriver to pry them on... the rubber isn't all that thick.

I never did figure out how people had such a hard time putting on the break pedal.

You just simply wet it. and slide it on "long ways" until it snaps on.
takes less than a minute.

Hell I can take it off and put it back on in the span of less than 2 minutes
when I was cleaning/polishing them.

the e-brake pedal is a different thing. I can't find an adhesive that will hold the "clutch" pedal there reliably.

+1. Did mine last week. I used a quart glass pyrex bowl - micro waved it (with water) for 3 minutes. Put the brake pedal in for about 2 minutes. Softened it right up - went on with no problem. The dead pedal is a piece of cake - just yank out the old one and snap this one in. For the gas, there is a clip near the top of the pedal (use a mirror). Pop the clip, and the pedal will rotate down. With a little force, the pedal will slide off. Revers this procedure with the new pedal. As for the ebrake - heh, good luck. Contact cement did not work. Foam tape did not work. I finally resorted to remoning the rubber pedal and using using a lot of hot glue. 3 days so far - it looks like it might hold...

Fear not - fairly easy and looks great!

I put the brake and clutch pedals on mine. i had first put them on my Sentra SE-R and was now gonna put them on my G. i remembered how much of a PITA they were the first time. This time I struggled with them for a while than said F-it. I took a razor blade at cut the lip off the rear of the pedals, then superglued them on. No problems with them at all! So much easier.

Note: If you get the AT set from Grubbs you wont get the parking brake pedal. But they are a few dollars cheaper. EverythingG35s is complete. All the parts have #s on them so if you only need the ebake you might be able to get it seperately. I think its the same piece as the MT brake/clutch pedal.
