Stillen Front License Plate Bracket?

Instead of drilling into my car's front bumper, Id like to get this bracket. But, the page says "ONLY FOR PRODUCTION DATES BEFORE 02-2004". Does this mean that it only works with cars built before Feb. of 2004? My car is a 2006, I dont want to order this and have it not work. Is there another option for a front plate bracket? Thanks!

ya make sure you order the right one. i ordered the 03-04 for my 05 coupe and i got screwed. when i got it and i tried to put it on, it didn't fit. for some weird reason they decided to make the tow hook on the 05's larger than 03-04. i was so pissed and i had to pay about $20 to just return it. i never bothered to order the right one again so i'm not even running my front plate.

so make sure if u buy it, get the right year and size for your car. the one i accidently bought was 16 MM. the larger size is 22 MM on the 05. i'm not sure what size the 06's are so you gotta find out. infiniti seems to like to change minor things on their cars for some reason.

Good Luck!

This Might Help

You might want to take a look at this bracket. It's $20 less and says they have one to fit the '05 CPE - I believe that one will work on the '06 also.

Could I just go out and spend maybe 5 bucks on two bolts? One 16MM and another 22MM in size and test to see which fits?

Is there a cheaper alternative? $70+ sure is a lot for a bolt I just really dont want those holes in my bumper.

I ordered one for my 05 coupe. The first time it came in, it was the 22mm bolt and it was too small. They were cool about it and got me the right one from Stillen. It kinda helped since Performance nissan wasn't too far away from me and i made sure it fit the 2nd time i went to pick it up.

Go here:http://www.stillen.com/Sportscars_de...d=65792&page=1

and print out that PDF file with the circle measurements. Go to your trunk and pull out your tow hook and measure up to which one you have; the 16mm, 22mm, or 24mm.

Again i have an 05, but i have the 24mm hook and the site lists the 24mm for an 2004.75 Coupe.

Ask for Andy before ordering the part. He's really helpful and will take care of you. Make sure you talk to them before you place the order online to be sure you have the one you need to minimize hassle.

it seems like a pretty smart idea, but i'm not sure how well it holds.

I just ordered one of these myself. The 2006 thread is 24 mm. Just get the one marked 24 mm on their site.

It's the one that says it's for the 2004.75 model. In the wording it says 24 mm.

Once you measure using the pdf file from the Stillen site and are sure you know what size you need. You may want to put that year/model G35 on your order. Meaning, you might want to put down that you have a 2004 coupe instead of the 05/06. But, make sure it's the 24mm size (or the size you need). I read a thread where someone needed the 24mm bolt, but they put down that they had an 05 sedan or coupe, and Stillen cancelled their order because it wasn't the 04 coupe.

BTW, I used the pdf file to measure my tow hook. It worked fine. I put down 2004 coupe just to be safe. I have an 05 sedan.
