Completely shaven is always better

I got my G a year ago and I had thought about taking the Infiniti and G35 off but decided not to....now Im back to thinking I make take them off...I just dont know...I think it looks cool with just Mt. Fuji on, just looks cleaner because it matchs the front emblem.

I see a G with only that on eveyday on my way to work on the 101S and the more I look at it the more I seem to like it. Just dont know if I would regret it...

 

Luckily, it's a reversible mod.

After shaving my IP, it looked a bit too plain to me. Granted, that had a lot to do with it being IP. So I added the JDM 350GT emblem (which I already had) and it helped a lot. After later installing a black KarumaZ diffuser, the rear is now slim enough that a shave could work very nicely. But I'm pretty happy with my arrangement and it took a good while to get them aligned properly.

 

Personally I think only the Infiniti logo is too little. I just removed the G35 and think it looks the cleanest overall.

 

keep the lettering.. looks alot more classy, seems like no one is mentioning how classy it looks with the emblem and letter

 

Granted, I wanted to get rid of the Infiniti emblems, but I also felt like there was just too much going on back there. The lack of symmetry from right to left annoyed me (G35 on right, nothing on left), especially given the overall cluttered look. The redundant Infiniti emblems (logo and lettering) isn't the smoothest idea, but I do understand that they had to put something in place of the SKYLINE lettering in order to keep the same asthetics.

 

I personally like the rear with the infiniti lettering and logo... G35 could go but I am just too lazy to remove. I think it looks good just the way it is but just the infiniti logo looks cool too... totally debadged just looks too plain to me.....

 

i agree w/ that last few posters, totally debadging it does look a little plain to me but then again like i said before some colors can pull it off a little better than others, i think w/ my IP just getting rid of the g35 emblem evens it out a little but imo the infiniti w/ emblem does make the car a little more classier, jmo though

 

The only thing worse than debadging is rebadging JDM.

 

+1 for full debadging....


... I even want to remove the front logo, and that is a #1 reason to get a gialla grill
