Clear bra vs clear coat

This is just an idea i had the other day.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but wouldn't it be more beneficial to have a professional apply many extra clear coats on the entire car rather than install a clear bra only on the front? This way the whole car would be protected and extra shiny! The front is not the only place that gets hit by rocks; sideskirts, rear bumper, and even the roof can get hit as well.

It can still chip, whereas the clear bra cant.

Exactly,...not to mention how easily the clear coat gets scratches and swirls.

There's only a limited amount of clear that could go onto the paint's surface...otherwise, the more orange peel that shows up. It becomes more opaque or hazy the more clear is added.......not to mention the clear is not strong enough to withstand rockchips.
