Well I got my bumper fitted and it really looked good even unpainted . So I came home from the shop and when I went to leave again the bumper scrapped really bad on the drive way . The combination of bumper and H springs [ 1/2 to 3/4 lower ] was to much . My stock front lip has been wore down from it . So I call a cement grinder and have him come and grind the driveway curb down . I wake up this afternoon and go right out to check it out . Looks much lower . So I jump in the car and back out . It scrapes much worse than before....FCK !!!!!! So the only thing left is to have the last part of the driveway tore up and repoured . The stock bumper is going back on till it gets done . I'll have the bumper painted and let it sit . The guy next door is a painter and a perfectionist so he is going to paint it . He is going to do it for $150 including paint and supplies

Wow that is hardcore..getting your CONCRETE ground down to compensate for your bumper. Thats rad.

Going up over bumps and driveways at crazy angels always worked for me in my Eclipse. One wheel at a time!

 

hmmm, i have the kuruma bumper and im dropped on 350z H-techs and i havent had many clearance problems yet and i live in MA, where the roads are pretty bad. only have scrapped my bumper once so far and it was because i didnt see a real big pothole. goodluck.

Does any one know if any of the foam behind the bumper needs to be trimmed ? Mine was fitted with all of it there except the part that hangs down in front of the IC .When I took the bumper off . It seemed lik the grill was forced to fit . The pull up fasteners were tight and when got the last one off , it popped forward . ANY HELP ?
