Mikey should I just order direct or go through a distributor?? Veilside USA said it would take months to get but I can wait...

Ok, this is getting fun. Intense Motorsports is an Authorized VeilSide Dealer. We were advised by a uniformed noob at VeilSide USA that they had discontinued the manufacturing of these. VeilSide will be receiving a tiny, undisclosed, quantity of V1 G35 Coupe products sometime in April. VeilSide is a class act company, so we had no reason to doubt when we were told that VeilSide Japan had discontinued the manufacturing of urethane.

 

I have no clue bro. But like I said...if I was in your shoes I wouldn't wait around for a kit to come from Japan, been there and done that, it sucks. Not to mention I've heard quite a few other horror stories of people waiting up to 6 months for rims or kits from Japan.

Your best bet is to order stuff that is actually, physically in stock. It's easy to say you'll wait...but once you fork out the cash and the time starts to pass and the stuff isn't even on your car....it gets extremely frustrating.

 

This is crazy... Intense says they are discontinued who is an Authorized dealer and Veilside USA says they aren't..... I want the lip bad and have the M O N E Y but can't get a straight answer.......

Lol. Yes, we're a VeilSide Authorized Dealer. My reply stated that a noob at VeilSide gave us the wrong info. VeilSide and Intense employees are human, so mistakes can and will happen. I think that the overall experience of G35driver forum members with both companies is well above satisfactory.

 

So if I call you back you can get the part for me right!?!? It just might take 4 to 5 months... If you can, then please give me your name and I will call you direct......

Yes, we can acquire them for you. When I spoke with Katsu at VeilSide USA (non-noob)today, to clear all of this up, he advised me that the container arriving with a small quantity of V1 next month will only fill back orders, and will only be sold as full sets. Therefore, if you're in the market to buy the front lip only, you will have to wait for the next container with overstock on the product. At this time, however, there is no eta on that container. I called Darren and made the deal with Intense and can't wait to get my lip!! No one should sleep on this company they are solid....... I can see myself spending a lot more money with this company if all goes well

if its coming from Japan be prepared to wait.........ordered my ings spoiler through bulletproof......told me 3 months and it took 7!!!!!

I ordered b/c the veilside lip I think is the best looking lip for our cars... It's rare and it's hard to get your hands on one.. Intense orders their product straight from Veilside USA instead of a third party like Bulletproof does... Why order the part if it's not in stock you ask?? Because I had no choice! Try and find anyone that has that lip in stock, you won't........
