Actually the Gialla Grill is made of urethane. It fits perfectly. It is not a replica but is a genuine JDM part.

One difference between the two in appearance is that the Silvia Grill has little ribs on the inner bottom part while the Gialla is smooth.

After I researched the two, I went with the Gialla and am very pleased with it. I recommend it.

acutally they will paint it for you for like $60 if you ask them. But don't have them paint it because the paint quality is crap. You'll see chips within a week or so....

No problem. I paid $100 and that included prepping the grille and painting it Laser Red and he also took the mesh off and painted it black. I got a cheaper quote at another shop but I know some guys from here have gone to autoexplosion before so I just went there. They showed me pix of another G that they did . . . it was sick!!

No complaints here on the SP grille. Have had it on since December 05' and no chips on the paint only on the metal mesh. But I touch that up every so often. I did have to drill my own holes but it turn out pretty good. Get a good paint job and you'll be happy.

^^^Yeah, as long as you go to a good body shop that knows how to prep and paint it properly, there shouldn't be any issues. Mine looks great and you really can't tell that it is not a Gialla grille unless you tell people that it is not a Gialla grille.

The UTR is I believe a replica of a griffin part....I bought a UTR and the body shop refused to install it because of the quality of the part and how nice my car was........
