What features do I lose when I Install aftermarket seats? Power seats will be gone? Heated seats will obviously be gone. Side Airbags.

I put JDM STI seast in my WRX, and there were Nismo seats in my G35. I took the Nismo out for the winter (had to have the heat), and am looking into putting them back in.

I don't know if I have pics of them in the G, but I'll look.

what seats are you planning to get down shift? I've been wanting to get seats for awhile.. but changing seats doesnt seem to be too popular on the boards.. so its hard to research. I want one with reclineability and maybe height adjustability. I understand we need to get the appropriate rails as well as something to avoid the air bag warning light. Perhaps you can tell me what you've found so far! Im looking to spend maybe no more than like 1k or somethin..

What did you do to oeveride the airbag warning light that keeps popping up when you install aftermarket seats? Just curious cause I want to change mine to but no one seems to have a solution for this problem.

Nissan makes a part specifically for this (bottom of page, called harness warning cancel. The name is weird, but I think that's what it was) :

It was much easier than the Subaru, where I actually changed the airbag controller to the 2 bag JDM system (from USDM 4 bag). Just the screwdrivers to take it out are$40 and up.

To be honest, for a quick solution, you just need a resister plugged in to the wire harness so that the controller thinks its still attached...

42, did you install these seats? I'm curious about your experience.

Do you know if these seats share a mounting pattern with any other seats?

Does removing the seat airbag disable the curtain airbag?

Thx in advance.

These seats (obviously not my car, though):

I don't know if they match any other seats (I haven't seen many sport seats).
