Floor mats?

It's time to replace my mats. I bought my car in December right at the start of the California rainy season. I figured I'd get the OEM all weather mats. Six months later, I have a hole because of various spiked heels.

What does everyone have? I really don't care for the look of the all weather, but they served a purpose. Maybe I'm a bit of a fuss, but shampooing my mats each week isn't really appealing. Are there any custom mats made out of a better material? Pics are appreciated.

When you say the OEM all weather mats do you mean the rubber one? you dig a hole with your heels in the rubber ones?

I would suggest OEM all weather mats (perfect fit). Not the same feeling as carpet mats, but you will not put a hole through at least.

My gawd woman! I live in socal as well but my mats aren't bad at all. I've had my car for exactly 1 yr now and I can say they still look new. Well of course the gf tracks flowers and crap but nothing the vacuum cleaner can't handle. Maybe you should look into these aluminum mats:

You could find some rubber floor mats, which I hope can withstand your "various spiked heels"

They sell them on ebay for $76.99 with $14.95 S&H. You might be able to find them cheaper elsewhere but when I did a search, I found that ebay sells you four mats whereas online sites only sell you two.

I got the Infiniti rubber floor mats and they work great! Remember that you have to remove the carpet floor mats prior to installing the rubbuer ones to get the proper fit ( there was a TSB about this)

LOL! I'm not that bad! Gives a new meaning to lead foot.

I have the rubber all weather mats.
I have a hole in the left side. I must put my foot in the exact same place each time.
Looks like I'll be driving w/o shoes.

Sheesh.

Yeppers, I did that. I have never used OEM carpet in the garage.

You can get OEM-sized custom mats from http://www.ggbailey.com with an optional heel pad.
