for real man... I dropped a C-NOTE with shipping for the MOMO... but just last week, the dude at Discount Tire (rotation/spin balance) came in after he got my car in the service bay and said to me... "You know, I can set you up with a set of MOMO's to go with that sweet shift **** you have on the G..." HA!! He was trying to sell me a set of these really sweet looking 19" MOMO Alloys they had in the showroom!! HA!

And he was going to waive installation/labor charges since he already had the wheels off for rebalancing! He was WORKIN' IT!

Just installed that ebay ****, was a total of $18 and some change. Still trying to get the OEM boot to work with it, may have to drop the **** a little lower in order to do so. Anyone know if that plastic piece surrounding the shifter is supposed to pop off?

The plastic bit does come off but u need it so you can shift into park and also so you don't knock it into reverse by accident.....I think

Just to be sure were talking about the same thing, the piece that has the "P", "R", "N", "D" on it is what I want to remove. I want to clamp the shift boot to the **** from underneath so it looks cleaner. I tried popping it off today but only 2 corners released and the rest felt like it was going to break.

Dont see why it would not fit, and with this ebay one is actually a little longer than the momo so the screws will reach the metal part of the shifter with ease, I was able to do it with or without taking the small plastic piece off the end of the shifter so I dont see why it would not fit your 07

Idk how the 07 differs, but the 03 stock **** comes off easy, there is a bottom plastic piece that just slides right down, you pull the holding pin off and the shifter comes right off. then new shifter goes right where the old one was and 3 screws on its bottom hold it in place, its pretty self explanatory. Did it in 10 minutes without a DIY

So what shifters will fit onto my 03 coupe directly? I hate the 03 **** quite a bit. Will the m45 one fit directly on or any other newer infiniti ones (preferably beige)
