Anyone figure out the headliner yet?

I've been wanting to do this.. I already know how to pull the rear sections etc. How do the front pillars come out?

Just grab and pull, they are held in with spring clips that pop out easily.

Did you guys strip the previous lining off the headliner? Are you guys using GENERAL 3M or the SUPER 3M. Trying to save myself from doing it again due to sagging lofl

They didn't have 3M where I was so I used a different permanent adhesive. Same effect though. I didn't strip the old finish off.

As for fabric size, I bought 2 yards at the store. A piece that is 6' in length is MORE than long enough to cover the pillar.

ok, I'll be undertaking this soon, since my car will be standing around in the garage between January and the summer and the major concern i have is how to do the sun visors. I mean even if you dye those black there are the warning labels that will stand out like a sore thumb. Is there a car with black upholstery anyone can recommend to pull sun visors out of, or any other suggestions ?

I have the same question, I am going to start on my interior tonight, but the sun visors in my car are horrible. I am thinking of dying them as a last resort..
