**Update**

Dealer adjusted the driver's side window and it now makes a complete seal.

Wind noise is no more!

Any idea how much this cost? Is it something I can adjust on my own?

Not sure how much a dealer or mechanic would charge, no? Sorry. I had mine done under warranty and funny you posted on this OLD topic of mine, b/c my driver side door is not fully 'retracting' down when I open it now.

I swear, Nissan didn't think through this window seal very well, or the motors they used SUCK.

I'm going to have the Service guys @ Infiniti of South Atlanta take a look again and fix under warranty.

Let me know what quotes you get for the work, I'm interesting in finding out how much it will run me to fix (I know it'll eventually break AGAIN) after my warranty runs out.

Thanks Guys!

Under warranty as in less than 60k miles or under the 12 month / 12k miles "adjustment" period?

I found this procedure for resetting the window, I think I might try it out and see.

1. Remove door panel. 10mm deep socket and 3" extension and ratchet. phillips screwdriver

2. Remove black patches over where window motor is. Black patch should be about 1" Remove them untill u find the motor and a black button.

3. Get inside vehicle.

4. Close door.

5. Close window all the way. Manual mode will be required.

6. With window closed push button and hold.

7. Manually roll down window.

8. Release button on window motor.

9. Manually roll window up.

10. Auto down.

11. Auto up.

12. Reinstall door panel.

I am still having the noise coming from the drivers side rearview mirror. I went as far as changing the complete drivers side weather strip $150 and nothing. I picked up an 07 G35 mirror assembly off of ebay for $70 and replaced the whole thing, now the noise is worse! I go about 60-65 mph and i hear the wind, almost like if i had my window open. I checked for window seal and it seems fine, i even did the window reset procedure and.... NOTHING. Does anyone have an update on this situation? Maybe something else i can try? I refuse to take my car to the dealer for this as i am out of warranty! Please help out guys. Maybe a stealership somewhere which is good around Miami Lakes area or whatever. I am just desperate already, i am about to replace the whole door!
