heres a pretty old picture. since then i have changed my AC display and i am currently working on the headunit display i do see a really small difference between the nav controls and the rest of the headunit, but it is not nearly as noticeable as the difference in blue

and just for fun heres a pic of my cluster which convinced me to change the blue to red

You should just do the guage lcds blue! But if you plan on leaving the climate/deck lcd's orange then reds probably your best bet.

those pictures are a bit old. i have the a/c display blue right now and i dont really like it.

i plan on changing the ac display and the bose display to red. also all the blue that you see (the navigation stick, selected ac setting, etc) to red. i think i will make the clock white since the ac display will be red. i am going for a red/white layout. these things take foreverr!! : (

That looks so awesome. I like the white better.

What about doing it all red like the Audi's?

Good news - I have figured out how to change the LCD backlight color on the instrument cluster. I'll be posting a DIY in the new year. Looks good.

I too have changed the lcd.. just be careful of the needles.. they're fragile.. not the needle itself but the rods that hold the needle.

I'll drive to calgary with some cash if you will do this on my 05 g35 coupe. I am way to rammy with things to be able to attempt this, I would end up with no interior left.

I am also waiting for the DIY. I'm gonna do the LED clear corner mod also once the clear corners get off backorder... How many LED's total does it take to do everything? My plan as of now is white gauges (speed, tach, etc) blue center console with red status lights. Anyone done this and have pictures?
