Heated seats.
Guys does anyone know what bulb goes in the heated seat switch, last time mine went out it was under warrenty but now the driver side has gone out and I am past my warrenty period.
The heated seat switch has two different bulbs in it.
The status light (when u turn heated seat on) is a standard 3mm led.
The heated seat icon backlight is an actual bulb with an orange "condom" on it.
They are not surface mount leds like pictured above (that particular one is for use with the climate control status lights)
Going to the dealer and getting another bulb/led for which ever of the two are out would be your best bet. If its your status light and your just going to buy an led you will need to solder it to the existing base/resistor. If its the backlight you need to get one from the dealer.
I know that this info is legit cause I changed mine out less than a week ago:

Thanks for the info, the one which has gone out it is the light which comes on when you turn you headlights on, it is not the actual light which comes on when you turn it on high or low settings as they work fine.

Anyone have the p/n for the status 3mm led? Mine is out. I'd like to run the p/n though a few nissan parts sites that have discounts. Is this status light difficult to change?
Thanks for this thread!

To respond to the other post as far as part #'s im not sure but your dealer should be able to tell you which ones pretty easily. You will most likely have to order from them anyway.

I went to the dealer last week and asked for the bulb, he said they do not come separate, I had to buy the whole light switch with harness $38 so now I am going to just swap out the dead one with the new and then see how they are put together and see if they are easy to break open as the switch itself looks like a one piece mold....have not looked at it in great detail though.
Also going to have to find another place to buy the bulb once I do break it open so I can use this as a spare switch.
