Squeaks

Anyone else have squeaks on rough roads from their doors? It may sound more like a tick than a squeak, and mostly from rear passenger side. Best I can figure (as it only happens when driving) is a seal, or the door panel moving slightly. Problem is when I took it to the dealer, it wouldn't do it. It probably would be nothing to someone else, but to me it might as well be a snare drum. Thanks!

Re: Squeaks

smuntz,
I notice a ticking noise when I first got the car..
and what I notice that..it has something to do with the seatbelt adjuster on the left driver side...I don't think I heard any other tickin on the rear passenger side..
The adjuster on the left side is set in the middle, wich...I think makes it bob..but when I lower it all the way or move it all the way to the top...then the ticking noise stop..

I hope this helps..

Re: Squeaks

I've got the exact same thing...and it's not just the seatbelt hitting the plastic on the side...there's 3 different noises in my car, all from the passenger side...and the only one that I can identify is the seatbelt one hitting the side...of the other two, one is in the front passenger, which sounds like the speaker is not properly installed, and the one in the rear which is a ticking noise. Anyone have these noises, or know where they come from...? They're driving me CRAZY !!!!!

Re: Squeaks

Glad I'm not the only one. I have tried the seatbelt adjustment. I have also tried fastening the belts to see if that stops it. No luck so far. I'm taking it in again next week and I'll post what result, if any, I get from the dealer. In the meantime, I'll keep the stereo turned way up...

Re: Squeaks

Good luck...the dealer will tell you that nothing is wrong. My dealer told me it was something that i put in my glovebox (sunglasses)....yeah right...like I'm that dumb...drove off the lot and within 10 seconds heard it while going over a bumpy part of the road...

Re: Squeaks

Many thanks! I will try that and report the results shortly thereafter.

Re: Squeaks

I tried the lube and it did not seem to do the trick. It was perhaps a little better, but the squeaks/creaks/ticks are still there. I will try another heavier dose and post the results.
