Yes very very true. But i was smart and used aluminum which doesnt retain heat that much. The cool thing was when i was using the lathe the piece of aluminum was allways cool even after i made the piece go from 1 3/4 to a 1 1/4 it didnt even really get hott.

HAHA you know me, lol im jk. The way i power shift it just allows me to make my shifts faster. Idk if that makes sense. The one thing i can say i love about my car is that when im launching it from 5k my clutch almost lags its self so i never go below 4k rmp when racing. But you just got to love the burning clutch smell. I have never had a car that allways smelled so bad. And the weird thing is i took it in to the dealer to ask them if i was doing something wrong or if the clutch was bad and they said it was perfectly fine so who knows.

Good job though!

I like stock...if only the top shift pattern is not chipped...I might need the aluminum top one that came in the newer cars

There is some kind of safety mechanism that won't allow the clutch to engage at high rpm's.

Let us know if that thing burns your hand...I know the stock shifter aluminum pieces can scald in the hot sun.

Could you be convinced to make another and sell it? Only if you can do another in aluminum though. I've very interested in the piece because a taller shifter should help me with my problematic 1>2 shift.

Very interested...

Definitely pushing the clutch all the way in. And I'm not the only one that has problems. It's only 1>2, and only very close to redline. At say 6k, it goes in like butter.

I have to be very careful with my 1-2 shifts at high rpms. Both my current and last transmissions were very touchy.
