Nismo gas cap...fit issues ?

I hear the Nismo gas cap has fit issues with gas caps that have tethers ? I would still like to buy one but im just wondering how difficult it is to rework and what the fit is like ? Can anyone comment ?

The new design fits just fine. You can dremel the gascap itself down a bit to make it fit and look better, but it fits fine without doing anything. Not sure about the older design...
