Anyone figured a way to replace worn out steering wheel?

Anyone figured a way to replace worn out steering wheel?

Mine is really worn out at the top and having a pieces of w/e material it is come off..

The dealer replaced mine at 30k under warranty.

some dealers will re-wrap your steering wheel with new leather...for a price.

Just buy a used steering wheel on ebay, they go from $30-100 at MOST. Have a shop put it on for you.

i just got myself another wheel as well.. anyone got a guide to install this? I wouldn't want the air bag to explode... haha

Its pretty standard on most vehicles how the steering wheels go on...

Disconnect the battery. Chances are that there is a screw on either side of the steering wheel (beneath two caps) that will release the airbag (undo these). The airbag has a harness, disconnect it. Beneath the airbag there should be a nut that secures the wheel down onto the steering column. Should be simple. BTW, the airbag won't explode unless you're doing this while you're driving into a wall

Or ask Calvin to bring his sewing kit over and he'll give you a custom furry pink replacement.
