Does anyone know where I can get the little black rubber piece that fits between the shift boot and the shift **** itself? You can see what I mean in the picture.

home depot, rubber shank washer <$2. Find it in the toilet supply section. I just wrapped the shifter with electrical tape to center the washer since the opening is larger than the shifter rod

 

It only comes with the NISMO Shift ***** specifically for the 350Z (there are multiple part numbers for the ***** and only one number has the rubber finisher)...
The rubber finisher only comes with these *****:



Most people do just get a part of a rubber hose and put it under the shift boot...

you are on your own on that one, probably better off buying the zeetoys one in stainless steel and leaving it or painting that. Paint doesn't adhere to rubber very well
