I ordered 6 and ended up with something like a half a yard to a yard left over.

How hard is it do that that? I have no experience with upholstery. Do you have any tips?

Yes, it did, especially in the back, now when your driving down the highway you can have a very nice and comfortable conversation with the people sitting in the back seat.

Overall not too hard if you have someone to help you pull and stretch the fabric around the plastic bits. Best bit of advice I can give is if you use 3m super 77 spray adhesive ...USE A LOT, some people who used it have reported that it can let go over time if not enough is used. Just be sure to let if dry for a minute after you spray it down, so that when you place the fabric on the glue, it won't soak it.
Also get yourself some GOO-GONE, its amazing and works great if you get overzealous with the glue or simply get a little bit on the fabric.
Easy stuff for the most part

i wanna do this to mine.... anybody know of people doing it to a stone interior??

and did you waste a lot of the suede (i.e. not making very strategy when cutting the pieces)? because i saw in BKZJAY's thread, somebody said you could do it with 3 yards, or 2 if you're careful.... but that seems like it def. wouldnt be enough

Does the headliner just snap off like most of the body parts? I don't want to break any brackets. Do you have any pix of the opposite side of the headliner so that I see where the connection points are before attempting removal?

Thanks! and really nice install. It's on my list... #31 to be exact!

Actualy my brother has stone/beige interior in his Audi and he's going to install a plaid headliner, i have no idea when, but ive seen it done before and it looks exceptional. And yea 3 yards is def not enough, i ordered six and had maybe a yard left over.
