Anyone know how to do this? I can't seem to figuire it out. Everytime time I ht the "recirculate" button, the A/C comes on. Even if the heater is running.

Just to clear things up, you're trying to have the fan on (but not a/c) and have it recirculate?

Thats is correct.. I just want air to flow and recirculate, but no A/C.. For some reason, the Car won't let me do it. It automatically decides for me that the A/C should always be on when I want to recirculate air..

I never had this problem with my S2k.. Is this only a G thing?

From what I know, you cant. The AC is used to regulate the air temp if youre not bringing in any from the outside.

Ok, so that brings up another problem. WTF is up with the smell? After I use the A/C... I park the car, and get back into the car hours later, and BAM, I get a big wiff of moldy air hitting my face...

I guess I should let the air run for a couple of mins b4 turning the car off when the AC is in use...

I can't say I've ever had that problem. Maybe I'm just lucky..... or maybe you need to clean your vents

Before you turn the car off, run the fan on high for a couple mins.

I will usually turn the a/c off and fan on when I exit the freeway to give it enough time to rid the system of any moisture that will cause that moldy smell.

OK -

Turn off the AC system. Press MODE, make sure the FAN is on at least one level, hit the recirc and adjust the temp you want. you wont get COLD air, but you will get the coldest air you can without the AC running.

Works fine for my 2005 Coupe.
