Question G35 Mph Cluster?!?!

Will The New G35 cluster fit in a 04 cluster,

cuz this orange is killing me, a nice luxury sports car, with orange gauges and clusters. <<<<< not my type.

Thanks

BMW pioneered that orange look. And they are the luxury sports car benchmark.

But to answer your question...I dunno. Time for you to start a trend.

You want to take the gauge cluster out of a new (08) G35 sedan and put it in your 04 coupe? It probably wouldn't match very well physically, plus all of your A/C and stereo lights would still be orange... but I think you can do it (any idea how much the new cluster would cost by the way?). Good luck!

Edit: you know what, it would probably be better to take your cluster and dash apart and replace all of the bulbs/LEDs with white or blue ones. This way your only cost is a bunch of lights plus your time and labor and now worrying about whether it will fit and be compatible with all of the various electrical connections in the back. I'll bet that the cluster costs over $1000 from the dealer. Hell they want $1900 for the frickin' 6-disk in-dash changer!

there was a guy on the boards who started a project like this but iirc it just modified the preexisting gauge cluster and removed the orange film, replacing it with a blue film
