1st off, I can not get a manual car because I am in a wheelchair. Is there a way to change 05 auto console to look like 05 manual. Have anyone done it?

As far as the OP's question, I want to say that it's been done before. I just can't recall who did it and I can't seem to find the thread. It's surely not impossible, but it may be more work than it would be on the 03-04 5AT interior.

 

i think you should sell ur G and get the newer G with that newer automatic so then u can actually pick the gears you want. wats it called?? i forgot... the EvoX has it and so does the GTI.

 

Are you saying that since I am in a wheelchair, I should not enjoy life like everyone else? I am sorry to tell you that I do NOT drive a VAN. Maybe another 30 more years when I can not carry my wheelchair in and out any more.

Boy, I hate to see you being a father to a poor boy in a wheelchair. " Son, you can not do that, you are disable. Son, you can not be normal like everyone else, you are in a wheelchair". POOR KID.

Beside, I think walking is over rated.

 

Thanks for the advise, but, I LOVE my G. I just like the manual console better than auto console.

 

I like the look of the manual console also, but I would never change it, because that would be "ricer".
