^ Good point about the rubber spacer. I installed my shifter without the rubber spacers or the white plastic extension piece, and I haven't had any fitment issues with the shifter for the past 3 months.

Bought the shifter online and it was missing the screws and adaptors. The vendor refunded my $$$ and let me keep the shifter. That was cool, but now I now have a nice paper weight at my desk collecting dust

Anyone got some extra rubber spacers they want to give me and help me out?!?

Has any that bought an auto shift boot from redlinegoods installed one on an 03/04? They told me they don't have instructions but its pretty much the same as a manual without the bracket.

Just installed mine today. Took about 5 mins. Looks great compared to the stock one.

The thing I like MOST about this **** is that my AVIC-Z1 can open freely and clear the **** now. With the stock ****, I would always have to put the car into neutral in order to fully open my Z1.

white_dc5, the black shifter looks great with your DD unit. That's exactly the reason why I went with that one, to match with the black interior and center console.

I bought the momo off ebay and went to fitted to my 05 V35!

How do you remove the trapezoidal-shaped chrome piece off the boot?

As the bottom chrome cover of the momo **** doesnt sit even with the factory chrome piece on the boot cover!

Got it sorted out!

As you need to remove the shifter bezel and flip the boot inside-out to remove the clip that holds the trapezoidal-shaped chrome piece off the boot.

I actually really liked the stock one, but after installing my DD, I can't open my DD unless its on neutral either. I don't know if I should go with the momo or stick to stock
