Ripped Drivers Seat **Warranty**

Ok so my car 48K miles on it and like most others the drivers seat has a one inch tear in the lower cushion. I just got back from the Infinity dealer and they said it would be covered under warranty no problem but when I asked them how much it would be if it wasn't under warranty (curious) he said its costing $1400

Dam!, good thing its covered cause for less than that I'd get my entire interior re-done.

don't walk...RUN and get it done before Infinity decides it's considered normal wear and tear

Hmmmm.....my driver's seat hasn't torn yet but my bumper-to-bumper runs out that the end of this month....I wonder if my Infiniti Extended Warranty will cover this if it rips in the future?

What infiniti dealer did you go to? I asked Douglas Infiniti in Summit, NJ and they said they don't cover rips on leather. They consider that Wear and Tear. How can I get it replaced under warranty?
