I want to put an M45 shifter in my 04.5 coupe - Also, I want to lower the height of the shifter itself (if you've seen the new GTRs I'm aiming for something like that). However at the bottom of the M45 **** there're plastic brackets that stick out, as it's made for the leather boot.

Does anyone have any pics + quick diy instructions of the M45 **** on an 04.5 coupe? I'm not particular to the Razo or the Momo... I like the leather, but even on my 04.5 the shifter, while it looks better than the 03-04' 'golf club', I still want a shorter shift **** (leather with the shift button on the front, not the top). Also, I'd rather not do a leather boot as many have done in previous threads, I'd only like to address the **** itself.

 

I don't think its 'quick' and the only version I saw was made with leather boot. Try searching in G35 Coupe section.
