How is the rear seats cable release connected?

How is the rear seats cable release connected?

I recently noticed that my backseats wont go down to connect to the trunk, how in the hell do i reattach i am assuing the cable release to it, as i am guessing it came undone?

It just sits on a hook. The end of the wire has a ball on it. Connects at the bottom of the seat.

So i could get to it, if i gut my trunk right? Like it will be clear as day? or is anything covering it?

^if your seats are stuck stick your hand in between the rear bench and upper seat and feel for the tab. pull the tab and it will release the rear seat.

You can remove the thin carpet lining on the back of the rear seat and get to it from the trunk side.

If you can't find the pull tab Hi-Tech is talking about, remove the lower part (for the legs) of the rear seat and it will be hanging there.
