there are only 4 bolts holding the seat down, once those are unbolted you need to unplug i think 3-4 plugs under the seat. DISCONECT THE BATTERY FIRST!!!!!!!!! let it sit for like 10 min. the yellow plug is the airbag plug so disconnect the battery before unpluging. the part that moves the seat is connected to the seat when you remove it, everything is connect to the seat. Hope that helps. Ive removed mine over 5 times now haha it gets faster and faster each time.

Seats

Ok, So I dont remove the bracket thats mounted onto the floor of the car. The 4 bolts must be between the bracket and the seat right ?

There are 4 bolts that mount the 4 corners of the seat rails to the car. It's not hard, they are in each corner on the floor.

The seat and motors are all attached.

sorry to bump an old thread but this one seemed to touch base on a problem I have encountered...I removed my seats this weekend to do a thorough cleaning. I didnt bother/think to unplug the battery before removing the seats...I plugged everything back together and now my airbag light wont go away.

Is there a reset for this? or will it eventually go bye bye?

Same thing happen to me and you need to get it reset. Go to your local Automotive Service shop.

if all it needs is an ecu reset i'll plug in my BlaztII controler, it has a simple ecu reset. i guess if that doesnt work i'll leave the battery unplug for a little bit...thanks!
