Coupe carpet replacement (not floor mat)

Hi all,

Wondering if anybody might know how much it would be to replace the OEM carpet (and if it is one piece or two), including installation. My OEM carpet has faded and looks worn. Also wondering if it might be more worth it to replace the carpet with a custom / higher quality carpet from a custom interior shop.

Thanks

I have an '05 with Wheat interior... I was going to put in a black carpet (not sure if it would look good or not)... I was actually quoted 1400$ (in Canada - things tend to be more expensive than in the States). Now I'm wondering if I can get a custom high quality one for around that price.

There is a better option, I recall someone using black Dye to recolor their carpet on the 3si 3000gt forum and it came out looking great. I would love to dig it up...but just a lil too much work for me right now

i remember seeing that on the 3si forum as well, but i've lost that book mark over the year or two since i saw it :/ I think Dsmtalk actually linked to it or something but if i run into it i'll post it though!

if ordering new carpet, why not take out your carpet, messure a square and order it then cut what wholes you need and bam. I dunno i've never had to replace mine but it seems easy enough???

EDIT: ok i think i found the one the dude above me was talking about, however this isn't the same one but same concept as i saw over a year ago.
